Aging Gracefully Dec 21, 2009
This was an easy read--not too much information that was hard to digest or something you probably hadn't read before. But it was inspiring to read about someone my age who looks so healthy and seems so vital. It gives you inspiration!!!

This book is 2/3 "look at me, look at me" and 1/3 basic common sense advice, such as eat well, exercise, and get enough rest. Nothing new or profound here.

Book needed an aggressive editor Jan 17, 2009
I was disappointed with this book. I would have liked to have seen a bit more on Valerie Ramsey's life story and her motivations upfront, which would have given some context to her advice. As it is presented, the advice given is trite; I flipped the pages thinking, "yeah? so?" I gave an extra star because what is here is acceptably written, but needs to be reordered (put more of the biographical information upfront), which would have provided more context and conferred authority to the lady's advice.

I purchased this book based on the 5 star reviews. What a disappointment. Very general information that you can get reading the covers of magazines while waiting in the grocery line.

Gracefully: Looking and Being Your Best at Any Age
This is a thoughtfully written book, inspiring and reassuring. Any woman that dislikes getting older should read it.
