Tastes great! Sep 25, 2005

This is the only great tasting green supplement I have ever used. I have been using it daily for over a year. It mixes quickly and has no noticeable consistency. It contains Stevia extract, an herb that gives it a clean sweet taste. Greens First is nothing like other "pond" tasting green supplements I have sampled in the past.

changed my family May 26, 2005

This wonderful greens drink has really changed the way my family eats. Because it tastes good, they are not afraid to get the greens in their diet. It's a nice drink in the morning or post-workout. It's also good if you mix it with a protein shake (chocolate or vanilla) for a nice taste. In my opinion, it tastes better whens its really cold. Highly recommend, and it's also highly prescribed by my doctor.

Worth the price Jul 12, 2009
By BusyBaker I'm a vegetarian that hates vegetables (go figure). My osteopathic physician was concerned I was not getting enough fruits and veggies in my diet, so she recommended this. Coincidentally the same week I also read an article in Allure magazine where a top-rated NYC dermatologist said she uses and recommends Greens First as a supplement to healthy skin and to fend off the aging process.
That all sounded great, but I was apprehensive this stuff would taste like pond water and was worried I wouldn't be able to stick with it. To my surprise it is great tasting! It has a slightly fruity, slightly minty taste with a hint of sweetness and absolutely no aftertaste. It tastes best with ice cold water and I mix it in a shaker cup with lid. As was recommended, I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and don't eat or drink anything for 30 minutes afterward. It definitely gives me a little boost of energy and never, ever any stomach upset or side effects.
The best result I've noticed from this product is that I have not had a cold for more than a year (shocking for me!) and my skin looks clearer and healthier than it has in a long time. Greens First is an expensive habit but so long as I keep seeing results and feeling good I'm willing to keep buying it!
Tip: Drink it FIRST THING IN THE MORNING ON AN EMPTY STOMACH and be sure to store Greens First in the fridge after opening to preserve all of the nutrients.

Good Nutritional Supplement Mar 10, 2007
By Martin Schwartz We have been using this product for about 2 years with good results. It gives a good energy boost during the day and helps with some immune system problems.

Very Effective At Immune System Enhancement Dec 09, 2008
By James R. Cowles First a disclaimer: I AM NOT A DOCTOR, NOR AM I A NATUROPATH, SO THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IS PURELY ANECDOTAL. My naturopath prescribed GreensFirst for me about 5 years ago. Since then, I have had a grand total of 1 bad cold / case of the flu ... and I think that was because I was living in Japan for 2 months, and didn't take my GreensFirst with me on the trip. Prior to that time, I would typically have 3-5 bad colds each winter, and usually a case of the flu. The first winter I was on G/F, the difference was quite dramatic. The taste is good -- not luscious, mind you, and I can't see myself drinking G/F "recreationally". (So "Hey barkeep ... GreensFirst on the rocks with a twist" is probably not in the cards.) But the taste is decent, pleasantly sweet. It dissolves well in water with no left-over powder residue in the bottom. (You don't need a blender; just put the G/F powder in the shaker, fill the shaker 2/3 full of water, and shake. When you take the lid off, the mixture will look a medium shade of olive-drab, but don't be put off by the appearance.) But even if it tasted like chimpanzee vomit, I would continue drinking it because it is like my immune / disease-resistance system is on steroids. JIM
