Great natural allergy relief Jul 25, 2010

I bought D-Hist Jr. tablets about 2 weeks ago and noticed a difference immediately after chewing my first tablet. I am actually a 34 year old adult. I don't like to take pills, only liquids or chewable tablets, because anything that goes directly on the tongue is better absorbed by the body. I was having really bad allergies and cough with phlegm (yuk). I was already taking asthma and allergy corticosteroid meds but nothing really helped. I had got a bad cold with bronchitis about 5 weeks ago and the cough and phlegm would not go away because of the allergy problem. As soon as I started taking these tablets the cough and phlegm went away within a few days. I was shocked. I take two tablets a day and will be going down to one soon for maintenance. I ran out of Flonase recently, the nasal corticosteriod, but I don't see a need to refill it as these tablets work so well that it feels like I don't even have an allergy problem! This product is way cheaper than prescription allergy meds, with no side effects. I highly recommend this product for both children and adults!

Allergies run in my family. My 3 & 5 year old have seasonal allergies so I heard about this product through a friend of mine and decided to try it. The product is pretty good. I give to my 3 & 5 year old 2x a day and it does help alleviate the symptoms to allergies. I find that it works better then the "over-the-counter" products you get at the local drug stores. The great thing is that this product is a "natural antihistamine" and like all allergy medicines it does take a few days to show that it works but it is definitely worth trying. I would recommend this product for any parent who tries to minimize over-the-counter products with chemicals and coloring we give to our children because we are unaware of natural based products available which do not compromise our childrens'immune systems.

For seasonal allergies this is very effective. My son always presents with allergy shiners in Spring and Fall. This Spring we used the children's claratin to only minimal relief. His congestion was still pronounced. This Fall, the shiners were back and I tried the D-Hist Jr. His congestion is much less. The tablets taste good. And there is no risk of the allergy medicine "fog" interfering with his school day.
The product contains natural histamine REDUCERS. Not blockers, like over the counter or perscription medicine.
I am anxious to try the adult version for myself.

My nine month old (yes, I know this is for children over 2, however we modified the dosage) had a runny nose with sneezing and congestion for over a week and despite trying several other homeopathic remedies (including Sinupret) there was little to no inprovement and the flow wouldnt slow. She was having a hard time nursing and sleeping. At last I ordered this and within 24 hours there was a huge improvement. By the second day all the sneezing was gone, By day 3 there wasnt even any congestion. I am amazed at how well this works! I would recommend this to anyone with allergies.

Just found out my son is extremely allergic to TREES! Really? His allergist prescribed allergy shots and D-Hist Jr. He swears it works when used consistently. This product is very hard to find on Long Island so I was happy to purchase it here. My son has been taking it and doesn't seem to mind the taste. Not sure if it's working but his allergies seem to be in better control so maybe it is.
