5If you have High Cholesterol - Let Vit C kick it out !  Sep 22, 2007 By Glenn
My cholesterol dropped from 273 to 205 during the year I took 3 or 4 vit C before bed (1000mg tablets). I figured I did not change my food or excercise habits so maybe the vit C did it. I shared that with a friend whose Dad had a heart attack -- she rebuked me as Vit C will harm me - she was sure of it -- I was spooked enough to cut back to 1 tablet. A year later now my level is 283 ! SO I went to the WEB to learn more - after viewing tons of articles about cholesterol having only one way out - through the liver produced bile, and that animals deficient in ascorbic acid had livers that were not effective to lower the cholesterol circulating in the plasma (blood) or the liver itself. This book makes it so easy to read all the features of ascorbic acid activity in the body. This book is best for the non-doctorate in bio science -- and seems to be accurate to all those documents I viewed.
